Executive management


Women Professionals Group provides women executive and functional managers on a temporary base. The roles of the temporary manager can be quite diverse and include operations, finance, sales & marketing, human resources and logistics. Based on the scope of the assignment and the required profile Women Professionals Group selects the most appropriate candidates. We take into account criteria such as areas of expertise, competences, personality and style of leadership.

Our women temporary managers are senior executives, functional experts or project managers who lead organizations and businesses in a period of transition, crisis or change. In these situations, a permanent role may be unnecessary or impossible to find on short notice. Additionally, there may be nobody internally who is suitable for, or available to take up, the position in question. to ensure continuity, provide expertise, to manage programmes or changes.

Our women temporary managers primarily perform assignments at or near board level in the following areas
  • Ensuring continuity in case of sudden departure, illness, death or sabbatical
  • Providing specific functional expertise or skills
  • Managing programmes and projects
  • Managing changes and improvements
  • Managing crisis or corporate turnarounds
  • Managing mergers, acquisitions and management buyouts and IPO’s
Five phases of an interim management assignment
  • Intake to discuss the issues, define the scope and required profile
  • Selection and presentation of 2-3 appropriate women interim managers
  • Confirmation and operational start of the assignment
  • Development, review and execution of the action plan
  • Ensure continuity, transfer power and end the assignment

Depending on the nature of the assignment Women Professionals Group provide counseling and coaching for the temporary manager and her team or successor.
